1. “I am Loki of Asgard…”
Who could forget Loki’s famous line: “I am Loki of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose.” This sentence foreshadowed Loki’s first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the first Thor movie. At this moment, Loki first introduced himself to the audience as a manipulative and ambitious antagonist whose goal was to conquer Asgard and become its king. His “glorious purpose” remained a key motif of his character, prompting viewers to question what truly motivated Loki.
2. “I’ve been falling for 30 minutes!”
Loki’s adventures in the movie Thor: Ragnarok brought about many comedic situations. In the first Thor movie, Loki discovers that he is the son of Laufey, not Odin’s. His emotional conversation with Odin can certainly be counted among the unforgettable moments when fans get to see Loki’s more sensitive side. Tom Hiddleston handled this scene masterfully, delivering believable tension and the pain that Loki’s character experiences.
5. “I assure you brother, the sun will shine on us again.”
In the scene from the movie Avengers: Infinity War, where Loki says these words to Thor, the brotherly relationship between Loki and Thor is brilliantly portrayed. Despite Loki being depicted as a villain, at this moment, he is trying to save Thor, making the scene even more emotional, as Loki later dies in the battle with Thanos.
